The hoist and support device comprises a mobile support column (2) which has at least one roller (11,12) near and on each side of its free end (10). The roller extends beyond the end of the support column. The roller axle (13) goes through the centre of the column end. The roller is pref. mounted on a pivot lever which has a pedal in the form of a two-armed lever spaced a little apart from the roller. |
