The headlamp is designed to be simply manually broken down into its constituent materials. The lens (4) is attached to the housing (2) either by three removable clamps or is glued to the housing with a tear strip embedded in the adhesive bead to allow the dismantler to rip out the bead. The reflector (3) is clamped between the lens and the housing while the light is spring mounted between the reflector and a cover cap (16)) at the rear of the housing. A beam adjustment part comprises a clip fitting (9) on the rear of the housing and with adjusting rods (5,6) clamped between the clip fittings and the reflector. The ball ends of the adjusting rods have clip fittings into sockets on the clip fittings and on the reflector grips. The adjusting rods regulate the alignment of the beam.
