<p>A fire-retardant polymer composition is provided which comprises 100 parts by weight of a polymer such as polystyrene, 1 to 30 parts by weight of heat-expandable graphite, and 1 to 30 parts by weight of a phosphorus compound. The polymer composition is fire-retardant, and emits less smoke and less corrosive gas on burning.</p> |
