The display unit consists of a housing with top, bottom and side faces, made from a transparent material. A chamber (12) is pivoted to the front face of the housing. the chamber can be filled with the desired quantity of the product before discharging its contents into a bag (60). The chamber is made from three linked sides (40) which are hinged to the front wall of the housing. Two further sides are lying perpendicular to one another in the front wall. Both sides complete the chamber's shape when in the upper position. Once the chamber has been filled with the required quantity of the product its hinged portion is tilted downwards with a bag held beneath it to catch the chamber's contents as they are discharged.
