PURPOSE:To make quick and exact biochemical analysis by providing a pair of pipetting nozzles to both ends of a holder, sucking a reagent with the one pipetting nozzle and cleaning the other pipetting nozzle at this time. CONSTITUTION:The holder 54 is mounted to a main spindle 52 and a pair of the pipetting nozzles 50, 51 are disposed to both ends of the holder 54. The pipetting nozzles 50, 51 are so constituted that the nozzles can be rotated and vertically moved. A reagent table rotates and moves to the under side of the pipetting nozzle 50 when a reaction tube in which a specimen is dispensed comes to a reagent discharge position. The pipetting nozzle 50 is inserted into a reagent bottle by a driving device 56 for vertical movement and a driving device 70 for rotation to suck the reagent, then the nozzle 50 is supplied up and is moved over the reaction tube to dispense the reagent into the reaction tube. The other pipetting nozzle 51 is moved to a cleaning position at this time so that the inside and outside surfaces of the nozzle 51 are cleaned. The reagent is sucked by the nozzle 51 and the nozzle 50 is cleaned in the next cycle. The operations such as reagent dispensing and cleaning are, therefore, quickly executed. |
