Disclosed is a method for production and isolation of 7-amin odesacetoxycephalosporanic acid, 7-ADCA, in which a) the Penicill ium chrysogenum strain is transformed by the expandase gene under the transcriptional and translational regulation of expressing s ignals of the fibrous fungi; b) the strain is fermented in the cu ltivation medium, into which there is added 3'-carboxymethylthiop ropionic acid or its salt, or ester, suitable for obtaining 2-(ca rboxyethylthio)acetyl- and 3-(carboxymethylthio)propionyl-6-amino penicillanic acid, i.e. 2-(carboxyethylthio)acetyl and 3-(carboxy methylthio)propionyl-6-APA, whilst the ring in the last-mentioned substances shall be extended in situ under the formation of 2-(c arboxyethylthio)acetyl- and 3-(carboxylmethylthio)propionyl-7-ADC A; c) from the fermentation culture there is isolated 2-(carboxye thylthio)acetyl- and 3-(carboxymethylthio)propionyl-7-ADCA; d) 2- (carboxyethylthio)acetyl- and 3-(carboxymethylthio)propionyl-7-AD CA is deacylated; and e) crystalline 7-ADCA is isolated. |
