<p>The handle (2) is situated at the corner of the suitcase (1) between its upper and end faces and is connected to the suitcase by two lengths of strap (31, 32) which go into the faces through slots (33, 34) situated at points corresponding to the handle ends when the handle is retracted. The two handle straps can be part of a single continuous strap fitted inside the case in a loop, and the handle itself is made from two shells joined together along their parting plane and having slots in their ends for the straps to pass through. When the handle is not in use the straps are retracted inside the case and the handle lies flush against it.</p> |
