The present invention provides an industrial concentration/purification method and apparatus in which hydrogen chloride in a arterial gas containing hydrogen chloride is oxidized to obtain a produced gas containing chlorine, and this chlorine is then concentrated/purified mainly by the use of a pressure swing adsorption process. According to the present invention, there are provided a high-yield and non-environmental pollution type high-purity chlorine preparation method and apparatus by which the produced gas containing chlorine can be obtained from the material gas containing hydrogen chloride with a high oxidizing reaction conversion, and a high-purity concentrated/purified chlorine gas and a treated waste gas scarcely containing the chlorine gas can be obtained from the produced gas containing impurities.
