<p>PURPOSE: To ensure the proper function of a water barrier, and easily detect a water leak position by forming a water impermeable layer on the bottom of an artificial pond, a waste separating yard or the like, providing a monitor lane, a collecting pipe or the like on the layer, and further providing a water-barrier sheet for the coverage thereof. CONSTITUTION: A water impermeable layer 26 made of nonwoven fabric 34 and a water-barrier sheet 36 is formed on whole surface ranging from a bottom and a slope, and a monitor lane 28 is provided on the layer 26 over entire length. Also, a plurality of collecting pipes 30 are laid, so as to be communicated to a water catchment hole 42 provided in each of divisions 4a, 4b and so forth. In addition, the pipes 30 are covered with a nonwoven cloth 50 and a water-barrier sheet 32, thereby ensuring a proper water-barrier function. Also, a water impermeable layer 48 is formed on the reverse side of a surface sheet 32 ranging over the prescribed area. Water leak, if any, due to the breakage of the sheet 32 is thereby made to flow from a leak position to the pipes 30, and subsequently detected at the lane 38. Alternatively, a sensor is provided to detect a leak position or a leak volume. According to this construction, water leak and the outflow of a harmful matter can be properly prevented.</p> |
