PURPOSE: To provide a hygienic air cooler which enables shortening of freezing time of an object to be frozen by allowing increase in the amount of chilled air to be blown to the object to be frozen without a larger power of a blower and moreover, facilitates the cleaning of the inside of a drain pan. CONSTITUTION: A cooling coil 8 and a blower 9 are arranged in a main air path within a casing having a main suction port 10 and a blowoff port 12 and a drain pan 18 which is provided with a sub suction port 20 on the same side of the main suction port and forms a sub air path 24 to mix air sucked at the sub suction port with cooling air from the cooling coil is provided at a lower part of the casing 13. An opening/closing damper 22 with the opening thereof adjustable freely is provided at the sub suction port 20 of the drain pan. |
