PURPOSE: To provide a part feeding device with a device that generates air for transporting electronic parts to a position from which the parts are fed to a part mounting apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A bulk cassette 1 feeds bulked electronic parts one by one to a part mounting apparatus, which then mounts them on printed boards. An air cylinder 17 containing a piston that is connected to a feed lever 5 through link means 35a, 35b and so on and is slid by the feed lever, is secured on the frame 2 of such a bulk cassette. An intake valve and an exhaust valve are formed on a cylinder case 18 that forms the enclosure of the air cylinder; the intake valve sucks gas into the air chamber encircled with the cylinder case 18, and the exhaust valve discharges air from the air chamber. Air obtained by the intake or exhaust valve is conveyed to an electronic part transport path, and electronic parts are thereby transported to a position 10 from which they are fed to the part mounting apparatus. |
