PURPOSE: To prevent the line acquisition state from being left set by enabling the cordless telephone set, by which a user cannot normally speak by the external radio wave of an electronic apparatus or the like, to receive a specific signal of the speech destination to disconnect and release the line. CONSTITUTION: When a speech button of an operation part 210 of a mobile machine 201 is depressed, a main control part 205 detects input of the speech button and modulates transmission request information from a voice processing part 104 to a radio signal by a radio control part 203 and transmits it to a fixed machine 101 from an antenna 202. In the fixed machine 101, the radio wave from the mobile machine 201 is received from an antenna 109 and is demodulated by a radio control part 105, and a main control part 106 receives transmission request information from a voice processing part 104. During speech, the radio control part 105 in the fixed machine ana the radio control part 203 in the mobile machine detect the intensities of radio waves from each other. If field intensities are lower than a prescribed value, main control parts 106 and 205 release the radio line and return to the waiting state.
