CALIPER BRAKE DEVICE FOR ROLLING STOCK

PURPOSE: To provide a function of forcibly returning a brake block when a brake is released in a caliper brake device for rolling stock. CONSTITUTION: A caliper brake device for rolling stock is provided with a supporting frame 12 formed integral with a main body, and fixed to a carrier. Also the arms of the main body are provided with a cylinder body 30, and energize a brake block 60 toward the rotor of a wheel. The upper and lower both end parts of the brake block 60 are supported slidably by an anchor pin. A rod 122 which passes the cylinder body 30 is engaged with a pressure plate 70 of the brake block 60 at its top end part 124. Then a spring 130 is provided between the other end part of the rod 122 and the cylinder body 30 so as to return the brake block 60.
