PURPOSE: To obtain a thermoplastic elastomer compsn. which is excellent in processibility, can produce a molded item having rubberlike properties by a molding process similar to that for a thermoplastic resin without requiring a troublesome vulcanization step, and can give a molded item with a smooth surface texture and an accurate shape to detail even if the shape is esp. complicated. CONSTITUTION: A mixture comprising 100 pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin, 20-300 pts.wt. partly cross-linked nitrile rubber powder, 25-200 pts.wt. plasticizer, 10-200 pts.wt. filler, and an org. peroxide curing agent is kneaded and molded by profile extrusion into a molded item with a complicated shape, such as a glass run channel or a weatherstrip. |
