PURPOSE: To balance with each other the current burdens of the semiconductor rectifying elements of a large-current rectifier in which plural semiconductor rectifying elements are connected in parallel with each other in an arm-like state with a simple easily-adjustable constitution without causing any resistance loss. CONSTITUTION: The current burdens of semiconductor rectifying elements 11-16 are balanced with each other by adjusting the control currents flowing to control windings 212 by means of variable resistors 213 by respectively providing current balancing circuits 21-26 to the elements 11-16 and constituting the circuit 21 of a saturable reactor 210, the main winding 211 of which is connected in series to the element 11, and then, connecting the control winding 212 to a DC power source through the variable resistor 213. |
