<p>PURPOSE: To enable the operation of an AC generator, making use of the actual possible output property curve range of the AC generator to its maximum, by operating the overexcitation limit line in view of generator possible output property in operation state from the difference between the actually measured value and the designed value of the field winding temperature of the AC generator, and correcting it. CONSTITUTION: The temperature of the field winding 6 of an AC generator 1 is measured, and the measurement data are inputted into aΔT arithmetic unit 2, which operates the differenceΔT between the temperature of the field winding 6 and the designed value, and inputs the temperature data into an output property arithmetic unit 3. The output property arithmetic unit 3 operates the overexcitation limit line in view of generator possible output property from the given differential valueΔT, and corrects it, and computes the possible output range of the AC generator 1 from the corrected generator possible output property, and sends a signal of operation point at the overexcitation limit to an excitation control circuit 4, and an excitation device 5 performs the excitation control of the generator field winding.</p> |
