PURPOSE: To provide a connecting device for a belt-like body requiring no labor for replacing a label roll. CONSTITUTION: When a label roll 11L is fed to a labeler 2, the rear end section of the label roll 11L is detected by a sensor 51L, a pinch roller 52 is stopped, the rear end section of the label roll 11L is cut by a cutter, a switching plate 28 is rotated, and the front end section of a label roll 11R is located adjacently to the rear end section of the label roll 11L. A connecting head 49 is lowered, and the front end section of the label roll 11R and the rear end section of the label roll 11L are connected by the connecting paper of an adhesive tape 17. |
