PURPOSE: To reduce the accumulated tolerances caused by miniaturization, wt. reduction, the reduction of the number of parts and the reduction of the number of fixtures while enhancing paper feed and discharge capacity, paper feed capacity, capping capacity and assembling properties. CONSTITUTION: An ink jet recording apparatus has a carriage 2 holding a recording head 1 along a recording sheet to scan the same, the guide shaft 3 fitted to the carriage 2 to guide the scanning of the carriage 2, the feed roller 52 of the recording sheet, the guide rail 4 fitted to the carriage 2 at the position opposed to the fitting part with the guide shaft 3 of the carriage 2 to guide the scanning of the carriage 2 and the spur 51 pressing the recording surface of the recording sheet to the guide rail 4. The guide shaft 3, the feed roller 5 and the guide rail 4 are attached to the same frame member. |
