PURPOSE: To realize a controller which enables changing of the machine type automatically when the controller for multiple types of hot water boilers is mounted on a main unit without modification, for example, cutting of a jumper wire, both during the periods of production and maintenance after a common application thereof. CONSTITUTION: The setting of machine types for a controller 2 is allotted to a connector and a shortcircuiting is caused between specified pins corresponding to a machine type employing a group of leads for connecting detectors and controllers and the detectors and actuators among those allotted to the setting of the machine types in connectors CN1-CN4 thereof to accomplish the setting of the machine type automatically upon the connection of a lead to the controller 2. Thus, all available machine types can be handled by one controller thereby enabling to curtail various managing costs of the controllers during the maintenance in the production process. |
