PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange each unit of a draw texturing machine so that operations can smoothly be performed. SOLUTION: Drawing units 5 and 6 and a relax unit 7 are arranged at a certain smaller angleαthan 90 deg. to the reference level E and a winding unit 13 is arranged at a certain angleδof essentially 90 deg. to the reference level E so that a synthetic multifilament thread 1 is threaded through an eyelet 2, then guided through a suction device 3 and a separating knife 4, set on a drawing unit comprising the two pairs of godets 5 and 6, passed through texturing units 9 and 12, guided through the relax unit comprising the pair of rollers 7 and led to the winding unit 13. A working position 16 for an operator is provided and comfortable servicing for all the units can be performed from the working position 16 by the operator with the arrangement of the drawing units 5 and 6 and relax unit 7 for the winding unit 13 when guiding the thread 1.
