PURPOSE: To reduce excessive winding operations by removing the insulating cover from the terminal section of a shielding wire over a desired length and exposing and separating conductors from the wire by rotating a chuck in the direction opposite to the twisting direction of the wire. CONSTITUTION: The insulating cover of a shielding wire is cut with a cut-claw while the terminal section of the wire having a desired length is held and the cut cover is removed from the wire by rotating the wire in the direction opposite to the twisting direction of the wire. The removing length of the insulating cover is limited to 70-80% of the length of the terminal section and the front end sections of the conductors are separated from the wire. Then the whole exposed terminal section of the shielding wire is terminated by twisting the bundle of the cores by rotating the terminal section in the direction opposite to the twisting direction of the shielding wire while the remaining part of the terminal section in which the insulating cover is left is fixed by clamped the section with a chuck. Therefore, the conventional trouble, such as the winding, etc., of the shield wire can be eliminated completely. |
