PURPOSE: To eliminate the contamination irregularity caused by air in the inside of a car of an interior material by reducing the compression ratio at the time of the press molding of the interior material as compared with that of other place at least at the place being in contact with the rear surface of the air permeable interior material provided to the inside of a car body under tension to increase the air permeability of that place. CONSTITUTION: The ceiling material 1 as the interior material provided to the inside of a car body ceiling panels 2 under tension is composed, for example, of a fiber sheet wherein cotton is bound by a phenol resin and, in order to prevent the bagginess of the ceiling material 1 and the contact friction with the ceiling panels 2, a pad 3 composed of a fiber block or a foam block is interposed between the ceiling material 1 and the ceiling panel 1. In this case, when the ceiling material 1 is produced by subjecting a fiber sheet to press molding, the compression ratio of a peripheral place 1A containing a place where the pad 3 is in contact with the rear surface of the ceiling material is reduced. By this constitution, the air permeability of the place 1A is increased as compared with other place and the generation of contamination irregularity by the presence of the pad 3 is suppressed. |
