PURPOSE: To provide a radio telephone set in which the user is able to identify from which an incoming call comes in the radio telephone set capable of being connected to both a base station of the radio telephone set and a stationary equipment connecting to a public telephone line. CONSTITUTION: Upon the receipt of an incoming call from a stationary equipment by a reception section 10, a control means 29 makes a 1st notice to a sounder 23. Upon the receipt of an incoming call from a base station of the radio telephone set by a reception section 3, the control means 29 makes a 2nd notice different from the 1st notice to the sounder 23. Then the user identifies whether the incoming call comes from the base station of the radio telephone set or from a public telephone line in the case of the arrival of the incoming call. Thus, the user identifies it that the incoming call comes from the base station of the radio telephone set with a higher charge than that from the stationary equipment or from the stationary equipment with a narrower speech range than that of the radio telephone set and then adjust the mobile range and the speech time depending on the status.
