PURPOSE: To provide a drain pump controller in which drain can be effectively discharged with a simple structure without using a water level sensor, and a drain tube can be reduced. CONSTITUTION: The memory 10 of a drain pump controller 8 stores predetermined relationship between an ambient temperature and the number of revolutions of a drain pump and stopping conditions in such a manner that the relationship is such that the higher the ambient temperature is, the higher the number of revolutions of the pump is. A CPU 11 inputs the ambient temperature from an ambient temperature detector, collates it with the relationship stored in the memory 10 and so controls a drain pump driving circuit 12 as to rotate the pump 5 at the number of revolutions of the corresponding drain pump. The fact that the condensed water generating quantity corresponds to the ambient temperature is utilized. The number of revolutions of a compressor may be input from a compressor-number-of-revolution detector 19 to be used instead of the ambient temperature. When the malfunction of a drain system is detected, the malfunction is displayed by a display unit 13. |
