PURPOSE: To provide a method for packing fiber aggregate into a mold, capable of reducing a forming cost and accurately packing the fiber aggregate while controlling the feed of small lump of fibers to fixed positions in a mold at a desired bulk density. CONSTITUTION: In a method for packing a fiber aggregate F, into which binder fibers having a melting point lower than that of nonelastic polyester-based short fibers having a crimped state are dispersed and blended, into a mold 1 in order to mold the fiber aggregate F into a matrix comprising the short fibers, the mold 1 is divided by partitions 3, fixed amounts of the fiber aggregates Fa to Fe are thrown in each zone in the mold 1 divided by the partitions 3 to provide the objective method for packing the fiber structure, independently controlling packed density of the fiber aggregates Fa to Fe in each zone. |
