METHOD FOR CLASSIFYING WASTE AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To provide a device for classifying waste for classifying and recovering waste (crushed pieces) contg. stainless steels for every material, and a method therefor. CONSTITUTION: The waste contg. stainless steel is crushed in an ordinary temp. or low-temp. atmosphere. The austenitic stainless steels which are usually nonmagnetic are magnetized by the crushing. The crushed pieces are classified for every material by plural units of magnetic separators varying in magnetic force. The waste (crushed pieces) contg. stainless steel is classified and recovered in such a manner. Then, the accuracy of recovering nonferrous metals which are valuable matter is improved.
