PURPOSE: To provide a white powder paint composition which can obtain a thermal transfer image receiving sheet by forming a resin layer, as an accepting layer, peelable from an ink sheet on a base material by a single process and a production method for the sheet. CONSTITUTION: A white powder paint composition for a sublimation type thermal transfer image receiving sheet contains 7-95wt.% of a resin component of a resin blend comprising 50-90wt.% of saturated polyester having an acid value of 1.0-20mgKOH/g and a glass transition temperature of 50-70 deg.C, 50-10wt.% of styrene-acrylate copolymer, and 0.5-12wt.% of a cured product of at least two kinds of reaction-curing silicone oil having mutually reactive functional groups. The image receiving sheet has an accepting layer which accepts dye when a thermal transfer sheet made by forming a dye layer on a support is heated on a base material, and the accepting layer is made of a thin layer of the continuous white powder paint composition. |
