PURPOSE: To provide a toothed belt capable of performing molding work of a reinforced cloth at a lower temperature than before. CONSTITUTION: A reinforced cloth 5 comprising a base layer, an adhesive layer formed on one side of the base layer, and a canvas is provided on the tooth face of a belt body 3 comprising an elastomer in the form that the base layer is positioned on the outside. Also the base layer and adhesive layer are made soften at a lower temperature than the canvas, and the reinforced cloth 5 is heated and pressurized at a lower temperature than the melting point of the base layer and adhesive layer. Thus, after the base layer and adhesive layer are made soften and a tooth form is made, the belt is cooled for solidification. |
