<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for deciding a position guide line such as the base line or underline of handwritten data. SOLUTION: This position guide line enables the correct positioning of data on a computer display. This is calculated by counting the number of picture elements of each horizontal line in the block of data. Afterwards, the counting of the picture elements of each line is filtered by using moving average in a wide range. Then, the lines of the filtered picture elements is analyzed by each line, and a position guide line for the prescribed block of handwritten data is decided.</p> |
