PURPOSE: To check the absorption and scattering of laser beams by water drips in an aerodynamics window for laser oscillator. CONSTITUTION: A supersonic nozzle 11 jetting a working gas i.e., a sealing gas is provided on a nozzle block 17 of a laser beam outlet of a resonance chamber 1 as well as a purge gas nozzle 13 is provided on the atmospheric space 5 side in parallel with said nozzle 11. In such a constitution, nitrogen gas jetted out of the supersonic nozzle 11 becomes a supersonic jet stream 19 while a non-condensating gas stream 15 jetted out of the purge gas nozzle 13 forms a layer covering the supersonic jet stream 19. |
