PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for customizing and storing the interface control of a printing device. SOLUTION: An interface control customize mode for providing access to a control characteristic library in a repository is entered, one set of control characteristics are selected for using one device on a network 24, one set of control characteristics are arrayed in one constitution on a display, one set of control characteristics and the constitution are stored in a memory, and one set of control characteristics and the constitution are referred to with one identifier. At the time of performing access to the identifier, one set of control characteristics and the constitution are provided on the interface screen display of one device so that the operation of one device can be controlled. |
