A Mn contg. Ni(OH)2 powder, in which 50 mol.% of the Mn is the (III) oxidation state and in which 5 to 60 mol.% of this Mn(III) is replaced by 1 or more of the elements Al, Ga, In, Fe, Co, Cr and rare earth elements. Also claimed is a process for producing such a powder by coprecipitation from solns. contg. Ni(II), Mn(III) and elements listed above with alkaline hydroxides. |
