PURPOSE: To perform optical communication in a long distance just by the optical communication without being accompanied by connection by cables. CONSTITUTION: A light projecting unit 13 for transmission, a light receiving unit 14 for reception, the light projecting unit 15 and the light receiving unit 16 are vertically supported through a pipe 12 on a mounting base 11 and the units 13-16 are respectively rotatable independent of the other units. By interposing such a light projecting and receiving unit equipment between the other optical communication equipments and turning the units 13-16 into appropriate directions, since the light projecting and receiving unit equipment functions as a repeater, the optical communication in a distance longer than the communicable distance of the light projecting units 13 and 15 is performed and a communication direction is deflected. |
