PURPOSE: To stably hold a sufficient amount of a heat storage material and enhance heat storage capacity by filling a heat storage chamber with the heat storage material which absorbs heat at the time of being changed from solid phase to liquid phase and discharges heat at the time of being reversely changed and dispersedly including a volume change absorbing material in the heat storage material. CONSTITUTION: A heat storage chamber 30 is filled with a heat storage material 35 which absorbs heat at the time of being changed from solid phase to liquid phase and discharges heat at the time of being reversely changed, and a volume change absorbing material 36 is dispersedly included in the heat storage material 35. When a liquid medium such as hot water is made to flow within a core pipe 21 of a heat radiating pipe 20, heat is transferred through a circumferential wall of the core pipe 21 to the heat storage material 35 which is in contact with the outer circumference of the wall so that temperature is raised in a closed interior of the heat storage chamber 30. The heat storage material 35 is usually solid and when an attempt is made to raise the temperature of the heat storage material 30 above a melting point thereof, the heat storage material 30 is melted into a liquid phase while the temperature is being kept at the melting point, and stores heat by absorbing the heat of the liquid medium. The volume change absorbing material 36 dispersedly included in the heat storage material 30 is expanded and compressed to absorb a volume change so that a sealed state wherein the heat storage chamber 30 is filled with the heat storage material 35 is stably held. |
