PURPOSE: To easily measure the temperature inside a pipe, e.g. a pipe where a power cable is installed. CONSTITUTION: A temperature-measuring rod 20A is a complex of an FRP rod 25 as a flexible wire body and a temperature-measuring optical fiber 27. The optical fiber 27 is connected to an optical fiber distribution-type temperature detector. When the temperature-measuring rod 20A is inserted into a pipe, the optical fiber 27 is laid in the pipe. The optical fiber 27 works as a temperature sensor, and the temperature distribution in the pipe is measured by the optical fiber distribution-type temperature detector.
