<p>PURPOSE: To provide an anticorrosive steel strand of high reliability without producing voids, etc., in an anti-corrosive covering layer. CONSTITUTION: A steel strand 10 is untwined into a core 101 and surrounding side wires 102, and to their surfaces an epoxy resin powder 103a is attached electrostatically. Twining is made again, and the epoxy resin powder 103a is encapsulated in the voids G between the core 101 and side wires 102, and the included air in the voids G is exhausted by vacuum suction. By this evacuation, epoxy resin powder 103b is again attached electrostatically to the periphery of the strand 10 which has once got rid of resin powder. Heat processing of the epoxy resin powders 103a, 103b results in formation of an anticorrosive covering layer 103 between the core 101 and side wires 102 and at the periphery of the strand 10.</p> |
