PURPOSE: To provide a shaft connecting mechanism capable of easily removably attaching a rotary shaft while being compact and economical without any play during running. CONSTITUTION: A roll shaft 21 having flat surfaces 22A on the outer peripheral surface 22 is fitted in a fit hole 37 having first opposing surfaces 38A opposed to the flat surfaces 22A to transmit torque. Elastic spacers 4 are interposed between the flat surfaces 22a and first opposing surface 38A. A part of the elastic spacer 4 is introduced in a recess 38C on the first opposing surface 38A along with the phase dislocation in the torque transmission. The elastic spacer 4 works as a lever about a fulcrum P of the edge 38D of the recess 38C to connect the roll shaft 21 firmly to the fit hole 37. |
