PURPOSE: To facilitate discrimination of a border part between a catheter and a baloon part in an observation field, by providing the first tube path having an opening near the head part of the catheter, the second tube path having the opening near the side wall part of the catheter, and the baloon part which covers the opening of the side wall part and has different color from the catheter. CONSTITUTION: An inserting part 2 of the thin and flexible baloon catheter 1 which is inserted into a body cavity is formed by a thinner diameter part 3 and a larger diameter part 4, and a baloon part 5 to which a freely expansible baloon is attached is provided on the outer circumferencial face of a head edge part side of the thinner diameter part 3. The inserting part 2 is white and the baloon part 5 is a rubber made of a natural rubber and presents black because of mixed with a pigment as a coloring material. The inserting part 2 is formed by the thinner diameter part 3 of the head edge side and the larger diameter part 4 communicated with the thinner diameter part 3, and the inside of the baloon catheter 1 is provided with a fluid delivering tube path 13 which is inserted into the axial direction and communicated with the opening part 13a of the head edge of the smaller diameter part, and with a baloon expanding/shrinking tube path 14 which is inserted into the axial direction and communicated with the opening part 14a of the side face of the head edge part. |
