PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device whose convenience of use is improved at a low cost without complicated device configuration. CONSTITUTION: In the case of facsimile transmission, an original S is set to an original placing plate 2 in a way that the original side of the original S is directed downward. In the case of copying, the original S is set to the original placing plate 2 in a way that the original side of the original S is directed upward. When a start key is depressed, the original S is carried separately one by one from the lowermost stacked paper. When the original S is correctly set, a close contact image sensor 15b at the lower side reads the original image in the case of facsimile transmission, and the image of a top page is sent at first. In the case of copying, an upper side close contact image sensor 15a reads the original image and the original is copied from the final page. Thus, the original as well as the copied recording paper is discharged in the order of pages. |
