<p>PURPOSE: To more accurately and smoothly transfer a data control from an ASR/SRR to an ASDE. CONSTITUTION: If a target tracked by a tracking processor 1 is decided to reach out of the coverage of an ASR/SRR by a coverage deciding unit 2, a landing runway is estimated by utilizing weather information and a flight plan in addition to the position and the advancing direction. The process in an interpolating calculator 5 can be accurately executed as compared with the case in which the runway is estimated only by the position and the advancing direction, and the transfer of a radar control from the ASR/SRR to an ASDE can be more accurately and smoothly executed. Not only the runway but also the landing speed and the landing position may be estimated. The altitude change which indicates an advancing angle, the estimating error obtained by a correlation processor 6 and the output of a PAR may be utilized instead of the weather information and the flight plan.</p> |
