PURPOSE: To obtain a fiber-reinforced composite material prepreg excellent in compressive strength after impact under high-temp. and high-humidity conditions by using a cyanurate resin or the cyanurate resin and a maleimide resin in combination, a specific epoxy resin, and a specific thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION: This prepreg comprises a reinforcing fiber, and a matrix resin comprising (A) a cyanurate resin (A1 ) or a mixture or preliminary reaction produce (A2 ) of a maleimide resin with the component (A1 ), (B) an epoxy resin, and (C) a thermoplastic resin having a glass transition temp. of at least 180 deg.C. The component (B) is selected from among (B1 ) at least trifunctional glycidylamine epoxy resins (e.g. tetraglycidylaminodiphenylmethane, in particular), (B2 ) epoxy resins having condensed arom. rings in the skeleton thereof, and (B3 ) glycidyl ether epoxy resins of the general formula. The component A is pref. a combination of methylenebis-p-phenylenedimaleimide and bisphenol A dicyanate used at a wt. ratio of 30:70 to 0:100. The component (C) is used as a surface layer in the form of a porous film or the like of a polyether-sulfone or -imide. |
