PURPOSE: To obtain a therapeutic agent for asteroporosis comprising a new triazepine compouns as an active ingredient useful for treating Paget's disease, osteoporosis, etc., having excellent inhibitory action on bone resorption and low toxicity and reducing action on the amount of serum Ca. CONSTITUTION: This triazepine compound is shown by formula I [R<1> is an aryl or a heteroaryl; R<2> is H, hydroxyl group, a halogen or a lower alkyl; R<4> is H, a halogen, etc.; R<3> is H, a lower alkyl, a lower alkoxy, a cycloalkyl, etc.; ring A is a ring of formula II (R<11> and R<12> are each H, a halogen, a lower alkoxy, an aralkyl, etc.), etc.; V-W is a group such as N=N], or the therapeutic agent for osteoporosis comprising its pharmacologically permissible salt as an active ingredient such as 6-(4-chlorophenyl)-4-(4-methoxybenzyl)-1-methyl 4H-2,3,4,5,10b-pentaazabenzo[e]azulene. The compound of formula I is obtained from a triazepinethione compound of formula III as a synthetic intermediate. |
