<p>The invention relates to a blade construction for an indoor club or the like, the blade construction comprising an edge reinforcement or corresponding frame 11, preferably of plastic material, running around the periphery of the blade 11, and a fixing element 13 for fixing the blade 10 to a club shaft. A thin wall 14 or corresponding membrane, which forms a largely continuous and uniform surface and which covers the greater part of the space defined by the frame 11, is arranged on the club blade 10 on one side of the blade, especially on the forehand side, inside the space defined by the frame 11. A support structure, consisting of support ribs 12 or the like and fixed to the frame, is formed behind the wall 14 or corresponding membrane, on the opposite or backhand side of the blade 10, and the wall 14 or corresponding membrane is fixed to the frame 11 of the blade 10 and/or to the support structure 12.
