The invention relates to a system for air supply and flue gas discharge for combustion appliances, comprising means for supplying combustion air to a combustion appliance, more particularly a central heating boiler, and means for discharging combustion gases from the combustion appliance to a discharge system. Said means are based on an injector effect and are disposed downstream of the means for supplying combustion air to the combustion appliance and are connected thereto by means of a loaded nonreturn valve (check valve) which is of such design that substantially no combustion gases are able to flow back towards the means for supplying combustion air. <IMAGE>
