A telecommunications reward method provides telecommunications servicesrewards for purchases made by members. The reward method frequently updates the member's reward profiles so that rewards are virtually instantaneous. The rewards consist of telecommunications services, for example long-distance call minutes or cellular telephone air time, and are easily redeemed. Apparatus for implementing the method includes a highlevel control centre and a database management system.
