PURPOSE: To obtain a dielectric porcelain having high reliability even in high-frequency uses and by constituting the porcelain of Mg, Si or/and Ti and oxygen and providing a gradient functional structure changing the relative permittivity within a specific range as a function of the position thereto. CONSTITUTION: This dielectric porcelain is obtained by using Mg(OH)2 , SiO2 and TiO2 as raw materials, preparing plural kinds of green sheets having different compositions, then laminating the prepared plural kinds of the green sheets, thermo compression bonding the laminate, providing a compact, subsequently burning organic components in the resultant compact in air, then baking the compact in air at a high temperature and preparing a sintered compact. Thereby, the resultant dielectric porcelain has a gradient functional structure continuously or stepwise changing the relative permittivity as a function of the position and is constituted of at least one element of Mg, Si and Ti and oxygen. The relative permittivity εthereof changes within the range of 6<=ε<=20. |
