PURPOSE: To provide a sealing device which has a configuration which is used instead of a spring which gives tension force, keeps constant tension force and slide resistance irrespective of fluctuation of pressure of sealing fluid, is provided with stable operation characteristics, and is low in cost. CONSTITUTION: A check lip for pressure storage and a check lip for exhaust as check valves which distribute sealing fluid in the same direction are provided at a tip section of the rear surface of a main lip 12 (seal lip) and at a desired position on sealing fluid L1 side of a reinforcing ring 11 (fixing section), respectively. Sealing fluid L1 is stored in contact with these two check lips, and end faces 9a, 9b, 9c (flow passage wall) which form a pressure chamber 23 are provided on the rear surface of the main lip 12. |
