CALIPER BRAKE DEVICE FOR RAILWAY VEHICLE

PURPOSE: To improve a brake block mounting structure secured to the cylinder side arm in a floating type caliper brake device for a railwayyehicle. CONSTITUTION: A guide rail member 100 pressed by a piston in a cylinder is disposed on the cylinder side arm 12 provided in a caliper brake body, and a brake block is inserted in the guide rail member 100. An anchor pin 84 abuts against the lower end part of the brake block, while a small diameter ring groove 86 formed in the lower neck part of an anchor pin 84 engages an recess part 102 on the guide rail member 100. An anchor block 80 having the anchor pin 84 secured thereto under such condition is secured fixedly to a mounting surface 90 of the arm 12 by anchor bolt 82. The lower end part 104 of the guide rail member is extended downward while an anchor spring 110 is elongated and the anchor bolt 82 is constructed not to be screwed while the anchor pin 84 interferes with the lower end part 104 of the guide rail member.
