<p>PURPOSE: To prevent a cursor from being shocked at the time of depressing operation, to obtain stable contact and to improve slidability. CONSTITUTION: In a coordinate input device constituted of supporting a plate- like lower resistor plate 12 on the surface of a fixed side insulating material 11, fixing a plate-like upper resistor plate 14 on the rear face of an operation side insulating material 13 formed like an elastic film, opposing both the resistor plates 12, 14 to each other through a small gap, allowing both the resistor plates 12, 14 to come into contact with each other when the surface of the material 13 is depressed, and detecting the coordinates of the contact position, the surface of the material 13 is coated with a surface protection layer 17 in which granular and spherical solid materials 16 are embedded.</p> |
