<p>PURPOSE: To obtain the subject ink containing a poly[N-monoalkylacrylamide], a coloring agent and water, preventing the leakage of the ink on the standing of a writing tool, and having good writing performance and ink stability with time. CONSTITUTION: The ink contains (A) 0.1-10wt.% of a poly[N- monoalkylacrylamide] having 1-4C alkyl groups and a viscosity of 2-20mPa.s [measured in a solution using a 4% sodium chloride aqueous solution as a solvent and containing the component A in an amount of 0.5% at 25 deg.C with a B type viscometer (rotation number: 60rpm, rotary No. 1)], (B) 0.5-30wt.% of a coloring agent, and (C) >=50wt.% of water. Examples of the component B includes an acidic dyestuff, a pigment and the dyestuff-dyed product of a resin latex obtained by an emulsion polymerization method. The ink is used for writing tools each having a mechanism wherein the ink is directly stored in a tubular ink-receiving member.</p> |
